Use the report during an inspection
That describes one scenario, not an injury prediction for every accident. Match the assessed version to the vehicle documents first. Then check whether you can reach the pedals comfortably with a suitable distance from the steering wheel and correct belt positioning. If you carry children, bring your own child seat and check its installation and clearance behind the front seat.
A used example needs separate checks
Ask for repair records, photographs of earlier damage and paperwork covering safety-system work. Have a specialist inspect airbags and belts and run electronic diagnostics. If repairs involved sensor locations, ask which procedures applied to this vehicle and request evidence that they were completed. A new-car result does not describe the quality of a later repair.
Your test-drive checklist
Focus on visibility, wiper controls, warning readability and seating comfort. Learn the settings while parked; do not deliberately trigger emergency braking on the road. The report helps you ask better questions. Judge the individual car using its records and an independent inspection.
